Tujhe Dekh Dekh Sona & NiSaGaMaPaNi - LIVE !!

May 23rd - 2009 was a very special day for all of us who performed at RASA - Holiday Inn, London, the programme had around 200 audience and All the songs were well received by them !! This time, the programme was named 'Bollywood Night' and we had a a mix of all genres of Hindi Songs.

On the keyboard we had Albert Vijayan sir, who is a popular Music composer and keyboardist, who has worked in many Malayalam films with all renowned music directors and singers including Yesudas & Chithra. We had the very versatile Manoj Siva on Tabla and Mithun Chakravarthy on the DrumPad.

I have compiled video clippings of songs NiSaGaMaPaNi (Movie:Anand Mahal - Sung by Yesudas) and Tujhe Dekh Dekh Sona (Movie: Kaliyug - Sung By Rahat Fateh Ali Khan).

Thanks a ton to my Good friend Senthil Kumaran for recording the video clippings. Pardon us for 'click' sounds heard while taking photos during the video recording.

Look forward to receiving your comments! :-)

Hi Rajesh,
I salute you bro…this is your best upload so far. I am listening to your rendition and watching the video , and your awesome. Clicking sound is annoying :)…par chchodo yaar when you sing like this clicking sound and stuff like those dont matter at all ,at least to me it doesnt matter at all. …Ni Sa Ga Ma Pa Ni is one of my yesudasji favourites….I wish I was in the audience bro :)

Wow Jeeya Dhadak Jaaye…waah Rajesh your a superb singer..cant stop smiling bro running out of adjectives for your singing /live performance…I have performed live and I know how difficult is to sing some simple songs and the way u have sung these two difficult songs is mindblowing bro.

It goes to my favourites bro and 10/10

Keep it up Rajesh

Cheers

A mere mortal that I am... whenever a pleasant classical piece starts, I want to close my eyes and enjoy, but the temptation of looking at a live performance won. Enjoyed!

Rajeshji,

You have just set yet another example, which justifies why I am a fan of your singing. When ever I listened to your songs, I used to visualize how would you be singing it. This video just helps my imagination. You look and sound like a true playback singer. I'll pray to God for you to sing always.

Rajesh,

I enjoyed watching you sing. The last time (which was my first time) came to your blog, I heard your "Saadma" song and loved it. But this time I kept watching you sing with so much passion.

Wish you good luck with your musical ventures. Hope to hear more from you.

Thanks

Rajesh,

A bit late here! Exquisite performance! Creating such a magic in a "live" environment can be very challenging. You did it with such an ease! Kudos!
